What’s up! Kyle here.
Special weekend edition. Short one, but I've been thinking about this all week and didn't want to sit on it.
Here's something I've noticed after 13 years of working with dental practices. The fastest-growing practice owners are almost never the ones with some secret strategy nobody else knows. They're the ones who talk to other practice owners.
That's it. That's the unlock.
Think about the problems you're wrestling with right now. Your no-show rate. What to pay a new associate. Whether that new patient special is priced right. Which practice management software doesn't suck. Some dentist two states away already solved every single one of those problems. They tested it, made the mistakes, found the answer and moved on.
But most practice owners operate on an island. You can't exactly call the practice down the street and ask what their case acceptance rate is. They're your competition. So everyone quietly struggles with the same problems, reinventing the same wheels, alone.
The dentists who break out of that are the ones in study clubs, masterminds and group chats with owners in other markets. Not competitors. Peers. People who will actually tell you their numbers, share what flopped and save you six months of trial and error with one text message.
If you're not crowdsourcing answers from people who've already been where you are, you're playing the game on hard mode for no reason.
Which brings me to the announcement.
I'm building a place for exactly this.
A private community for MM4D readers. Dental practice owners from all over the country talking marketing, sharing what's working, comparing notes and getting answers from me directly. No algorithm deciding what you see. Just a couple thousand practice owners who read the same playbook every week, finally in the same room.
It's coming very soon. The most engaged MM4D readers are getting the first invites.
That's all I've got. Enjoy your weekend.
