Google Is Prioritizing Your Reviews AGAIN

What if I told you that 1 minute per week could 100X your marketing return? Well, it might not 100X it. But it'll help.

What’s up! It is me, Kyle, in your inbox.

You all know about Google Reviews, right? 💻

These are the reviews that patients leave for your practice, directly on your Google My Business listing. They are publicly available, impact your overall rating and you are allowed to reply to them. Below is an example.

That’s what we are looking at. By the way, 300+ Reviews and a 4.9 rating is incredible. The sweet spot in the dental vertical is 4.7-4.9. Once you get below 4.7, you see an increase in clicks to see what’s up. And if you are sitting at a 5.0, the average user assumes the books could be cooked. This is according to Google’s annual user report survey.

It’s always been up for debate how much reviews actually helped with your SEO and placement within the Local Maps. But the wonderful Joy Hawkins, through reverse engineering, has found a solid link between the two after the most recent algorithm update.

So, what am I saying?

Pile up those reviews! There are plenty of ways to run campaigns to generate a ton of reviews in a short amount of time. Google will provide you with direct links. They do get cranky when you incentivize reviews though, so tread lightly there. 👀

It’s pretty clear that in the current landscape of Google, it not only provides social proof and brand strength to the user, but will increase your ranking on the Local Map! For us at the agency, we will be prioritizing this with our practices throughout Q1.

➡️ More Reviews 📈 More Visibility 📈 More Patients 📈 That’s straightforward enough, especially coming from Google.
