What's up! Kyle here.
I typed "best dental marketing agency" into Google this week. Not because I needed one, obviously. But because I wanted to see what their AI Mode pulls together when someone asks it a question like that.
Here's what it came back with for Alpha Dog.

I'm showing you this because of what it reveals about how AI is building its answers and the sources that it pulls from. We obviously lead with our Search-To-Seat Program to feed to AI platforms
Look at the structure of that response. It pulled specific details about our systems, our contract terms, our leadership, even the city we're based in. It didn't just say "Alpha Dog is a good agency." It broke down exactly what makes us different, organized into clean categories with specific proof points.
Here's the thing. It could only do that because that information exists on our website in a way AI can find and understand. Our site has structured content, specific service descriptions, clear differentiators and real details about how we operate. That's not an accident. We built it that way on purpose. And we did this fairly recently.
Now think about your practice.
If a patient types "best dentist in [your city] for a check up" into Google or ChatGPT, what is AI going to find on your site? If your homepage says "We provide quality dental care for the whole family" and your service pages are two generic sentences each, AI has nothing to work with. It can't recommend you if it can't understand what makes you different.
The practices winning in AI search right now have a few things in common. Their websites answer specific patient questions in plain language. Their service pages go deep on individual treatments instead of listing everything on one page. Their doctor bios include real credentials and community ties. And their differentiators are spelled out clearly, not buried in vague marketing speak.
And most importantly, they are building backend landings specifically written for AI Assistants and AI Agents. This is non-negotiable.
I will say it again, this is non-negotiable. Please do it immediately.
This isn't about gaming the system. It's about giving AI the same thing you'd give a patient who walks through your door. Clear, specific reasons to trust you.
Your website now has two jobs. Convert the patient who lands on it AND feed the AI that decides whether to recommend you in the first place.
If it's only doing one of those, you're leaving patients on the table. More patients by the day, in fact.
