AI Isn't Done Yet, It's Coming For Your Search

What if I told you that 1 minute per week could 100X your marketing return? Well, it'll be a few more minutes than that. And it won't 100X it. But it'll help!

What’s up! Kyle here.

I’m back with everything you need to know from the dental marketing world this week, condensed into one minute, or a few minutes, of reading.

This week, we’re looking ahead to the future of user search - SearchGPT. You’ve probably heard of ChatGPT, this is an arm of that.

To this point, discovery for your practice has taken place on Google since the early 2000’s. That’s when the YellowPages went out of style and we moved away from starting every business named with AAA as a form of optimization. Fun times.

Well, after 20-ish years, there is another big change coming. Below are a few highlights of what to expect.

📱 It will be directly integrated into ChatGPT, which already has massive market share and is growing.

🗣️ It will prioritize long-tail and conversational search, meaning it will be able to handle complex and specific asks from the searcher.

🕺 It will personalize the search experience. This means that it will pick out context clues in the search, reference user history and deliver results that match more specifically to the prompt the searcher gave.

It’s to be determined how it will integrate local search or paid search into the experience but it’s easy to imagine that it will be included almost immediately. And remember, Google is launching Google AI, dubbed Gemini, with the same timeline. You’ve probably already seen the AI Overviews when you use Google today. They will localize that experience when users are looking for local businesses.

🚨 How about a quick break for a shameless plug? I run a lead-generation agency that specializes in dental practices. We deliver new patients, period. Below is a recent testimonial. If you’d like a free audit of what you are currently doing, you just have to replay to this email! 🚨

“I refer the Alpha Dog team to everyone that asks because I know that they’ll take care of them and will be honest, either way. They are going to give it to you straight and work like dogs to make sure they provide return. I sleep better at night knowing that I recommended people I trust.” - Aaron Davis

Yes, Aaron is a real person. Here’s a picture of him.

What a guy. And I’m not just saying that because he said nice things. Am I?

⏩ Anyway. Next week, we’ll look into a marketing tip that you can make use of today. Switch things up a bit.

And now, here’s your funny of the week. ⬇️
